Impulse is defined as the area under F.t graph

Impulse=area of EBCD

Area EBCD=area EBCF+area of ΔFCD

Impulse I=(BE+FC2×EF)+12FC×FD
=(200+18002)×2×106+[12×800×10×106]

Impulse =106(1000+4000)Ns
Impulse =106(5000)Ns
Impulse =5×103Ns
