The correct option is B 4x in embryo and 7x endosperm
The embryo is formed by the fusion of male gamete with egg, hence ploidy of embryo, in this case, will be x+3x=4x.
While endosperm is formed by the fusion of polar nuclei with the male gamete. Polar nuclei are part of embryo sac where they show ploidy double of egg i.e. 3x×2=6x in this case. Hence, ploidy of endosperm will be x+6x=7x.
So, the correct option is '4x in embryo and 7x endosperm'.
