The correct option is C 15%

After the first discount of 10% on ₹16000,

Discount =10% of ₹ 16000

=10100×16000= 1600

Price of watch after 1st discount = ₹16000 - ₹1600 = ₹14400

As the customer pays ₹12240 after the second discount, the second discount amounts to:

₹14400 - ₹12240 = ₹2160

So the second discount percent is,

216014400×100=15%.
