$\therefore$ Net price after 1st discount $=Rs.1600-10\%ofRs.1600$

$=Rs.1600-Rs.160=Rs.1440$

$S.P.=Rs.1224$
$\therefore$ Second discount $=Rs.1440-Rs.1224=Rs.216$
$\therefore$ Rate of second discount = $\frac{216}{1440}\times 100=15\%$
