Rs.39744


M.P = ₹ 40000
Discount of 8% is given by shopkeeper, so selling price would be
S.P = 40000 - 8% of 40000
S.P = 40000 - 8100×40000
S.P = 40000 - 3200 = ₹ 36800
Amount which customer has to pay will be given by
Total amount = Sale price + Sale tax
Total amount = 36800 + 8% of 36800
Total amount = 36800 + 8100×36800 = 36800 + 2944 = ₹ 39744
