c=log3=0.4771

Step 2: Apply absorbed equation

xm=kpx.....(1)

Take logarithm on both sides

logxm=logk+xlogp

Substitute the given values in the pressure equation

xm=3×(4)2

xm=48

Therefore the value for xm=48
