The gravitational force that earth exerts on the moon is equal to the gravitational force the moon exerts on earth.
Th gravitation force is represented by $$F_{gravitation} = \dfrac{GMm}{R^2}$$   (where $$M$$ and $$m$$ are the masses of the heavenly bodies and $$R$$ is the distance in between them)
On both the masses $$M$$ and $$m$$ same force is acting which is $$F = \dfrac{GmM}{R^2}$$.
