ii) The kidneys play a vital role in keeping the blood composition balanced. They filter the excess water and waste products, which are secreted from the kidneys in the form of urine. So, (ii) statement is correct.

iii) kidneys eliminate the materials or products which are not required by the body like the urea and the creatinine and also eliminates the substances which are in excess. The useful substances like glucose, fats are not eliminated by the kidneys. So, (iii) statement is false.

iv) Normally, there is no accumulation of any substances in the kidney, it’s function is to filter the fluids. So, (iv) statement is false.
