The correct option is B 2 : 1

Here we are considering,

m1=20 kg,T=60 kgωt

m2=30 kg,

=(60×9.8)N

=588 N[1 kgwt=9.8N]

Now, for m1 =20Kg ,

we know that,

Tm1g=m1a1
after putting the value af T,m1,g we will get,

588(20×9.8)=20a1

a1=58819620=196

(1)

Again similarly, for m2=30 kg.

we can write,

Tm2g=m2a2
After putting the values af T,m, and g we will get,

588(30×9.8)=30.a2

a2=58829430=98

(2)

Now,

a1:a2=196:98

=2:1. (Ans)
