The correct option is D 3.14 s
R=2.5m.
For water not falling, effective acceleration of it should be g.
V2R=g

V=Rg=2.5X10=5m/s

V=5m/s is minimum velocity with which bucket be whirled.
Let us assume that speed is uniform.
T=2πrV=2π×2.55=3.14sec
