In SHM,
Maximum velocity vmax=Aω=100 cm/s...........(1)
Maximum acceleration amax=Aω2=157 cm/s2.......(2)
dividing eq.(1) to eq.(2), we get
ω=157100=1.57 rad/s
Time period (T)=2πω
T=2×3.141.57=4 s
Hence, option (a) is the correct answer.
