The mean of ten numbers is $\text{14}$. Four of the numbers have a mean of $\text{10}$.The remaining six numbers are $\text{16,20,22,x,8 and 10.}$

Find the value of $\text{x}$.

Mean of $\text{10}$ numbers is $\text{14}$ that means the sum of the $\text{10}$ numbers $\text{= 140}$

Mean of the $\text{4}$ numbers is $\text{10}$, that means the sum of the $4$ numbers $\text{= 40}$

$\text{16 +20 +22+x+8+10+40 = 140}$

$\text{x = 24}$

Hence the value of $\text{x is 24}$.
