It is given that measure of exterior angle, ∠XZP of ∆XYZ = 90°
Using the exterior angle property,
m∠XZP = m∠YXZ + m∠XYZ
90° = 55° +m∠XYZ
m∠XYZ = 90° – 55°
⇒ m∠XYZ = 35°
Thus, the measure of ∠XYZ = 35°.
