Total angle = ${360}^{\circ }$ = 12 parts of a clock

$\therefore$ 12 parts = ${360}^{\circ }$

1 part = $\frac{{360}^{\circ }}{12}={30}^{\circ }$

5 minutes = 1 parts = $1\times 30={30}^{\circ }$

Time from 8:30 to 9:05 = 8:30 to 9:00+ 5 minutes

=30 minutes + 5 minutes

= 35 minutes

$=\frac{35}{5}=7parts$

$=7\times 1part$

$=7\times {30}^{\circ }$

$={210}^{\circ }$

$\therefore 8:30$ to $9.05={210}^{\circ }$
