The correct option is B 0.9
The model has 10 boxes both vertically and horizontally (10×10=100 boxes)

Model 1 has 74 shaded boxes out of 100 boxes.

If we represent it in decimals we'll divide 74 from 100= 0.74 part of model 1 is shaded

Similarly,

Model 2 has 16 shaded boxes out of 100 boxes. We'll represent them in decimals also» 16/100=0.16 part of model 2 is shaded.

Now on adding the two decimals,

0.74+0.16=0.90

So option B is the correct answer.
