Solution

The correct options are
A Molarity of the solution is 2.5 M
B Molality of the solution is 3.33 m
Assuming, total moles of the solution =1 mol

so, moles of acetone =0.25 mol
molar mass of acetone =58 g/mol
therefore, mass of acetone =14.5 g

moles of heptane =0.75 mol
molar mass of heptane (C7H16) =100 g/mol
therefore, mass of heptane =75 g

Total mass of the solution =89.5 g
volume of the solution = massdensity=89.50.895=100 mL

Molarity of the solution= moles of solutevolume of the solution(L)=0.250.1=2.5 M

mass of solvent (heptane) =89.514.5=75 g

Molality of the solution= moles of solutemass of the solvent (kg)=0.250.075=3.33 m
