Boron has 4 hybridised orbitals, out of which 3 orbitals are occupied with one electron each and rest one is an empty orbital.
BHB bond angle is less than 180
There are two terminal B-H bonds for each boron atom.
There are only 12 valence electrons, 3 in each B atom and 1 in each H atom. Thus there are only 12 bonding electrons available.
