Given-* Moment of Inertia about one of its diameter is (I) we Rnow that Moment of Inertia of a disc of mass (M) and Radius (R) about an axis passing through its centre and perpendicular to the plane. is - I1=MR22
By perpendicular axis theorem, moment of inertia of a disc about its diameter paratel to the plane is- I11+I11=IL=MR22I11=MR24=I (given)
