1)First write this in increasing order.

1000,1000,1200,1400,1500,1600,10000

There are 7 incomes
So the middle one is median. Here median is 1400

If
1500 is added to this incomes,

1000,1000,1200,1400,1500,1500,1600,10000

There are 8 incomes now.
So the middle are 4th and 5th. Here 1400 and 1500.

The median will be the average of these two.
Median=(1400+1500)/2=1450
