Question

The moon is a non-luminous object yet it shines.

Solution

  1. Moon does not create its own light naturally like the sun.
  2. The luminous sun's lights are reflected by the surface of the moon and that is how we see the moon lit up.
  3. Hence the moon in spite of being a non-luminous object feels like it is shining.
