There is no five points to explain in this question. The name was changed from Imperial Cricket Conference to International Cricket Conference once Britain lost her empire. The earlier name was given at a time when all the cricket playing nations were part of the British empire. When these countries became independent, the name was changed to reflect their new status as independent nations.
