Solution

The correct option is C Germany
In January 1933, Hitler became Chancellor of Germany but his real aim was to become a dictator. Before he could realise his ambition, he needed to gain enough seats to be in a position strong enough to allow him to make the changes that would lead to his goal. He convinced President Hindenburg to call a new Reichstag election for March 1933. This set off a series of events that ended with Hitler becoming Führer.
The Nazis quickly swept away many of the freedoms that Germans had enjoyed under the Weimar constitution. The party’s control of the legal system made opposition to the regime very difficult indeed:

Judges had to swear an oath of loyalty to Hitler and were expected to act always in the interests of the Nazi state.
All lawyers had to join the Nazi Lawyers' Association, which meant they could be controlled.
The role of defense lawyers in criminal trials was weakened.
The standard punishment for crimes was abolished and so local prosecutors could decide what penalties to impose on those found guilty.
Hence, Option C is correct. None of the other countries had an absolutely dictatorial regime and suffered mass genocide like the Holocaust, hence, incorrect.
