Lithium hydride is not completely ionic as the 2s orbital of
Li and 1s orbital of H forms bond which have significant covalent characters. Also lithium hydride is unreactive at room temperature while other hydrides of group 1 elements are reactive and in molten state also its conductivity does not increase.
