The correct option is A $\frac{3 d}{4}$
Distance of null point from shorter pole
$= \frac{d}{\sqrt{\frac{m_{2}}{m_{1}}} + 1} = \frac{d}{\sqrt{\frac{9 m}{m}} + 1} = \frac{d}{3 + 1} = \frac{d}{4}$
$∴$ Distance of null point from larger pole
$= d - \frac{d}{4} = \frac{3 d}{4}$
