Solution

One apple in the pictograph represents 10 apples sold. So, we can represent the numbers of apples sold on Monday by 6010=6 apples.
The number of apples sold on Tuesday can be represented by 45/10=4.5 i.e., 4 and a half apples.

Similarly, the number of apples sold on Wednesday and Thursday can be represented by 5, and 5 and a half apples respectively.

(b) Total number of apples sold by the shopkeeper in all four days =60+45+50+55=210
