Solution

The correct option is E 8.0×1023
The molar mass of water is 18 g/mol.
12.0 g of water corresponds to 1218=0.67 moles.
1 mole of water contains 6.023×1023 molecules of water or
2×6.023×1023=12.046×1023 atoms of hydrogen.
Hence, 12 g of water contains 0.67×12.046×1023=6.023×1023=8.0×1023 hydrogen atoms.
