The correct option is B 2,097
Total number of chocolate blocks = 12,455
Chocolate blocks used = 10,358

To find out how many blocks were broken, we need to subtract 10,358 from 12,455$.

Let us write the values in the place value chart.



We cannot subtract bigger numbers from smaller numbers.

So, we regroup 5 at ones places to 15 using the next term and we can start subtraction.

It will be 15 - 8 = 7.

Similarly, we will do the same for the next places in the following manner.
