Solution

The correct option is D Increases many folds
Golgi apparatus is present in all eukaryotic cells except RBC and sieve tube elements. The units of Golgi apparatus in plants cells are called as dictyosome while in animal cells it occurs as single compact or loose complex. The number of Golgi bodies or dictyosomes is generally 9 - 10 in a plant cell but is very high in cells engaged in the secretory activity. In plant cells, it involves in the formation of cell plate during cell division and forms cleavage in animal cells. During cell division Golgi apparatus increases many folds for the separation of daughter cells.
