Solution

Students who watched T.V. from 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 hours have watched T.V for less than 4 hours.
The number of studnets in the class interval 1-2 is 4.
The number of studnets in the class interval 2-3 is 8.
The number of studnets in the class interval 3-4 is 22.
So, the total number students who watched T.V. for less than 4 hours = 4 + 8 + 22 = 34.
Hence, 34 students wathced T.V. for less than 4 hours.
