Nucleons are the proton and the neutron, which are the constituents of the atomic nucleus.

For each molecule of CO2 there is 1 atom of C which has 6 protons and 6 neutrons
2 atoms of O which has 8 protons and 8 neutrons

Total number of nucleons in 1 molecule of CO2=12+32=44

Moles of CO2 in 2.4 ml=2.4×10322.4=1.07×104 mol
