Let α,β be the roots of the quadratic equation.
α+β=α2+β2
αβ=α2β2
Now, α2+β2=(α+β)22αβ
From equation, αβ=α2β2, we can see that either αβ=1 or 0.
When αβ=1, we get two solutions for (α,β), they are (ω,ω2) and (1,1).
When αβ=0 roots are (0,0) and (1,0).
Hence, four solutions are possible.
Option B is correct.
