Solution

The correct option is C 0.60
Equation of current meter
V=aNs+b (i)

Here,
V= Stream velocity at the instrument location in m/s
Ns= Revolution per second of the current meter
a, b= Constants of current meter

From (i)
0.25=a×1250+b (ii)

0.46=a×3050+b (iii)

From (ii) & (iii)
a=0.583, b=0.11

From (i)
V=0.583 Ns+0.11

=0.583×5060+0.11

=0.6 m/s
