Solution

The correct option is B 12σ and 3π
A sigma bond is a covalent bond which is formed by the head on an overlap of two atomic orbitals. But there can be a maximum of two pieces bond between two atoms in a molecule.
For example, if there is a single bond between two atoms, then the bond will be sigma bond. pi bond are covalent chemical bond here two lobes of an orbital on one atom overlap two lobes of an orbital on another atom. Each of these atomic orbitals has zero electron density at a shared nodal plane, passing through the two bonded nuclei.
