The number of stars on electric appliances ___
indicates the quality rate of the device
indicates the energy deficiency
indicates the energy efficiency
indicates the quality of the metal used in device
We use two expressions (i) H=I^2Rt and (ii) H=V^2/Rt for calculating the energy consumed by a device . out of these two expressions the first expression indicates that the energy consumed is directly proportional to R whereas the second expression indicates that the energy consumed is inveresely proportional to R .How can we explain the seemingly different dependence of H on R in these expressions ?
The electric power consumed by a device may be calculated using either of the 2 expressions :P = I2R or P = V2/R .The first expression indicates the power is directly propotional to R, whereas the second expression indicates inverse propotionality.
How can seemingly different dependence of P on R in these expressions be explained?
