Let number of students taken Mathematics =x and
number of students taken Chemistry =y

According to question,

0.10x=0.12y=30

Solving for x and y we get,

0.10x=30 and 0.12y=30

x=300 and y=250

Total number of students taken atleast one of these two subjects
=300+25030=520
