The correct option is B 99;69.5
The value which is quite different from the rest of the values in the data set is said to be outlier.

Observe the given data,


Here 99 is the outlier as it is beyond the range of the rest of the values which is between 66 to 73 in the data set.

Thus, the given data without outlier will be represented as,


It can be observed that the data set now contains even number of terms, so the median of this data set will be obtained by following two steps:

Step I: Arrange the values of the data set in ascending order.


Step II: Observe this data, the middle two numbers are 69 and 70, thus the median is calculated as,

Median=Mean of 69 and 70=69+702=1392=69.5

Hence, the outlier of the given data is 99 and the median of this data set without outlier is 69.5.

So, option (b) is correct.
