Mean = Sum of all data pointsNumber of data points

We know that mean = 38.

Substituting the value of mean, we get :
38 = 28+30+34+30+49+52+x7

38×7 = 223+x7 × 7
266 = 223 + x
266 - 223 = 223 + x -223
43 = x

Thus, there were 43 visitors on Sunday.

Median is the middle value of a numerically ordered data set.

Arranging the number of visitors in ascending order, we get :
28, 30, 30, 34, 43, 49, 52

Thus, the median is 34.
