Predecessor: The predecessor of a natural number is one less than the given number. In the other words if we subtract 1( first natural number) from the given number we get the predecessor of that number.

For example; let's take a natural number4,

The predecessor of 4is=4-1=3

Hence, the correct answer is predecessor.
