Solution

The numerical value of Kc increases or decreases with temperature and it depends upon the heat of reaction whether it is endothermic or exothermic. When, the equilibrium shifts in forward direction, the Kc value increases. When, the equilibrium shifts in the backward direction, the Kc value decreases.

Nature of the reaction

Exothermic
Decreased

Endothermic
Increased
forward direction
Endothermic
Decreased
backward direction

In exothermic reaction, heat is evolved and in the endothermic reaction, heat is absorbed.
