Solution
Electroplating process:
The technique of aligning another metal onto metal is known as electroplating.
This would be performed with the use of electroplating equipment that consists of a brine solution, batteries, wires, and alligator clips that contain carbon rods connected towards the metal to somehow be electroplated and the metal to be laminated.
Cathode electrode:
The Cathode would be the positive or oxidizing electrode that collects electrons from the external circuitry and reduces them throughout the electrochemical process.
Positive ions are removed into the solutions by the positive electrode or anode even during the electroplating process.
Particles are now attached to and drawn more toward the negative electrode, commonly known as the cathode. As a result, the cathode is the electroplated item.
Therefore, The object to be electroplated is taken as a cathode electrode.
