The price of the washing machine including VAT $=Rs.13500$

Let the original price be $x$

Therefore, SP of the machine $=x+8\%\times x$

$=x+\frac{8x}{100}$

$=x+0.08x$

$=1.08x$

According to the question,

$\Rightarrow 1.08x=13500$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{13500}{1.08}=\frac{1350000}{108}$

$\therefore x=Rs.12500$

Hence, original rice of the machine is $Rs.12500$
