The outer and inner diameter of a circular ring are 34cm and 32cm respectively, then find the area of the ring.

D= 34
R= 17
d= 32
r= 16
Area of the circle = pi*r²
​​​​area of the ring= area of outer circle - area of inner circle= pi (R²-r²)
=22/7{(17)²-(16)²}
= 22/7 * 33
= 103.714 cm2
