Solution

Approach:
  • Write about the outer core of Earth
  • Explain how it is facilitating life on earth.
The outer core of the earth is liquid in State which mainly comprises of Iron & Nickel.Iron & Nickel is in the ionised state due to High temperature generates convection currents which inturn produces earth's magnetic field and the gravitational pull effect.
  • Importance of magnetic field: It deflects most of the high energy charged particles
  • of solar radiation & solar winds whose charged particles would otherwise strip away the ozone layer that protects the biosphere from harmful ultraviolet radiation.
  • Importance of gravitational pull: it has allowed the formation of a thicker atmosphere by anchoring the gases near the earth's surface which in turn created the right atmosphere for the evolution of life.
  • Gravitation also plays a major role in completing the hydrological cycle which sustains life and creates different ecosystems on earth.
