Change in base current, $\Delta I_B=(30-20)=10\mu A$

Change in collector current, $\Delta I_C=(4.5-3)=1.5\text{mA}$

$\beta =\left(\frac{\Delta I_C}{\Delta I_B}\right)=\frac{1.5\text{mA}}{10\mu A}=150$
