D=980 & P= 14 satisfy the equation
980=14 m+c ___ (A)
owner sells 120 liter milk at Rs 16 / liter
So, D= 1120 & P=16 satisfis the equation.
1220=16 m +c _ (B)
by equation (A) & (B)
m=120 c= -700
D= mp+c
D= 120P-700
P= 17 $\Rightarrow$ D= 120 (17)- 700 = 1340 liter
