The pancreas has both exocrine and endocrine parts.
Holocrine
The pancreas has both exocrine (Acini – to secrete pancreatic juice to help in digestion of food, here it is an exocrine gland as it releases the secretions into the duodenum through the pancreatic duct) and endocrine parts (Islets of Langerhans with α, β and delta cells which secrete hormones glucagon, insulin and somatostatin respectively).
