The parallel ranges of himalayas differ from each other . Elucidate.

Dear student,
the himalayas are made up of 3 parallel ranges- shiwaliks, himachal (lesser himalayas) and himadri ( upper himalayas)
they differ from each other due to the following reasons-
1. difference in altiude and pressure
2. thus flora and faunna differ as well
3. temperature also changes as we go higher from shvaliks towards himadri
