The correct option is A 96 m2

Draw BEAD, then ABDE

Hence ABED is a parallelogram

AB=DE=20m

AD=BE=8m

EC=DCDE=3020=10m

Now, using Heron's formula,

arBCE=s(sa)(sb)(sc) where ,s=8+6+102=12m

arBCE=12(128)(126)(1210)

=12×4×6×2

=2×12=24 m2

Also, arBCE,

12×EC×BF=24m2

BF=24×210=4.8m

arABCD=12×(AB+CD)×BF=12×(20+30)×4.8

=50×2.4

=120m2
