Distance between parallel sides (h) =9 cm
$\therefore$ Area of trap = $\frac{1}{2}\left(\text{sum of parallel sides}\right)\times height$ $\frac{1}{2}(14+18)\times 9=\frac{1}{2}\times 32\times 9c{m}^2$
= $144c{m}^2$
