When it became clear that the white cricket elite didn't want their entry into the Bombay Gymkhana, a whites-only club, they left that public park and built their own gymkhana. In this way, they showed tolerance and forbearance. They valued cricket much more than these narrow feelings. The Parsis team established an outstanding example of unity. It was the first Indian team that toured England in 1886.
